Volunteer nurses help seniors with vaccination

An amazing group of nurses including Tigrena Domi, RPN and General Manager
of Shoreview at Riverside are offering to help seniors to book their vaccination
appointments, to coordinate transportation and to answer basic questions about
information accessible on Ministry of Health and Public Health websites.

Tigrena is passionate about this project: "We’re determined to not see another elderly person die because they couldn’t get registered for a vaccine. The last year has felt like a war against an enemy you can’t see.”
Working as a team of 5, volunteering their time, they pushed to get vaccination appointments with local pharmacies.
The full story was printed in the Windsor Star
Thanks to the bold efforts of volunteers like Tigrena and the team, seniors were helped in the fight against Covid.
